Recycling the trays
Our trays are crafted from recycled materials. Once you’ve enjoyed your meal, simply rinse the tray and toss it into the recycling bin.
Recycling the box
Our boxes are crafted with 88% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. The cardboard is FSC Certified. When you’re done with the box, just remove the tape and place it in the recycling bin.
Ice pack disposal
Option 1: Cut a small corner open in the casing and spread the gel in your garden at home. The gel helps plants retain water moisture.
Option 2: The gel can be safely disposed of down the sink. As you are disposing of the gel, add a teaspoon of salt to help break it down.
Option 3: Reuse! Pop the gel ice packs straight back in the freezer for your next family picnic at the beach.
No matter what option you choose, the ice pack casings can be dropped in the soft plastic recycling bins at your local supermarket. Check out the link below to find your nearest soft plastics bin.
Envirofoil pouch disposal
Along with your ice pack plastic casings, you can also dispose of the insulation from the box in the soft plastics recycling bin. From here, soft plastics are repurposed into other products.
